Fun Times!

So, it has been an exciting week/weekend for us! To start it off, my dad was called as Bishop and so we headed home to give him our love and support. We had a great time!! I got to see my Aunts and Uncles from my Warnick side and that was a blast! Then Jackie, Fran, and I were all about singing around the piano until Wyatt brought out Pat Benetar's song "Total Eclipse of the Heart" we shouldn't have, but we did! All I can say is go Fran!!!! Jack and I were the backups! It was exciting! Then it was SEP's (parent-teacher conf.) for the girls so they had half day all week. I met with their teachers and both girls are doing really good in school! then thursday came and Cicely got sick! Really sick! Still don't know what is wrong but we will be heading to the Doc tomorrow! And then Friday came...All was going just fine until about six o'clock in the evening. We went to take lunch to Chris and on our way home Chet started wiggen out! Saying that a penny was stuck in his tooth! Then he said that it was in his throat! Sure enough, he had swallowed a Penny! No big deal, he was still breathing! Well to make a long story short Fran came over to hang out while the hubby's were at work and Meg came in and wanted me to go with her to "see something" Yes, Chet was throwing up trying to get the penny out! Frantically I called Chris who then called the Doctor who then called me and he told me to get to the ER because the penny could be stuck in his throat. I left the kids with Aunt Nannie (by the way thank you so much Fran!) and headed to the hospital carrying a sick and uncomfortable Chet. They did the x-rays and found no penny, so his body must have gotten rid of it! Thankfully he is ok! I feel very blessed! We did give him the "Don't put any money in your mouth" talk (again) so we are hoping we are past that!

Chanda, I am so glad you responded. How the heck are you? Still in St.George? It would sure be fun to get with everyone again. As you can see I have Melissa Kimball, Holly Porter, Robyn Rogers, Rachel Konold, Danielle Scott, Jamil Provost and Breanne Borrowman on my site, so you should check them out. I love that we are able to keep up the friendships this way... Tell Chris hi.

Do you remember when Morgan "accidentaly" swallowed the marble at school? The school called because they didn't know whether it contained lead or not! Dr. Bennett had us come down for an x-ray and sure enough, she had swallowed it and it was in her belly. He told me to watch for it to come out. NO WAY!!! It better come out and I didn't need to see it. I asked her how come she would swallow a marble and she said," It just popped in my mouth" and a few other stories she came up with. KIDS!! One thing is for sure, never a dull moment with them around. I am glad Chet is OK> Love ya, Cokie Lokie
