Thankful!
This past weekend I was able to make a quick trip home to Delta.
It was a special experience for me.
All of my sisters were home.
I miss Wyatt! First time I have cried about him being gone.
I was able to sit and talk with my family about special experiences we have had together.
I was also able to remember some experiences I had as a child that have contributed to who I am!
So thankful to have an eternal family!
I am thankful for my heritage!
Thankful to my parents who have raised me. Even if sometimes I do the things they taught me not to do!
Thankful to my husband who knows me and still loves me!
Thankful my kids have cousins and Elle to play with and love!
Thankful for the time to be together and remember why life is so fun!
Thankful that my Heavenly Father knows me!
Thankful for the life I have.
And I am thankful for the life yet to come!

Chrislyn's Birthday
So many Jacobs so little time!

For Family Home Evening we decided to make a quick run to the temple.
It has been a while since we have been to the visitors center because of my surgery.
It is so fun to walk around the temple with my kids and tell them all the stories about Chris and I. When we first started dating, I lived with my Grandmother and she lives right by the temple. Chris and I would take a walk every night around the temple. This had become a tradition for our family. When my girls were little and Chris worked sundays we would go walk around the temple after church. One time Chrislyn even was looking for her husband stating that "He said he would meet me here! Where is he?"

Chet's Homework
Chet and I disagree about when his homework should get done! I think he should do a little every day so he can hand it in on Friday. Chet thinks it can all be done on Thursday. Who wins? I usually do but let me tell you, it is a battle! Although this kid LOVES to read and to be read to he is not so keen on the whole "homework" idea. Boy, do we have a long road a head of us!
