Kids say the darndest things!

Here are some funny stories. I am really writing these for journal purposes but anyone is welcome to read!

CICELY:
Cicely was with my mom and dad this time so I am retelling this story as best as I can!
The girls (Elle, Chrislyn and Cicely) were talking about what they wanted to be when they grew up Cicely states "that she doesn't want to do anything with water." My mom was curious why she didn't want to work with water and asked Cicely why not. Cicely responded by saying "that she didn't want to be a life guard or anything like that because all you do is sit around and wait for someone to drown. And that could take a LONG time." (It is even funnier when you say it in Cicely talk)

CHRISLYN:
We were driving in the car the other day and Chrislyn really wanted to do something fun. She got really sick of me being boring and asked "Why can't we do anyhting fun today?"
I responded by saying "Because I am a mean mom, don't you think I am a mean mom Chrislyn"
She replied, "I don't know it is too early to tell! Ask me when I am Wyatt's age!"

(And just in my defense on this particular day we had just got back from a action packed 4'th of July in Delta! I was tired. Heaven Help ME!
