Overwhelmed!!!
OK, so it's like this...I went to a Stake Prepardness workshop this morning to learn about coupon shopping! Boy am I overwhelmed! I am lucky to make it to any store at any time of the week! Since Chris works at Costco I usually just have him buy the basic: bread, peanut butter, jelly, milk, and tuna fish to fit our basic needs! Occasionally I will hit Costco for the other essentials: Chicken, hamburger, snickerdoodle cookies etc. Sometimes when I feel over zealous, I will attempt Wal-Mart and buy the typical family meals: Hamburger helper, tuna helper (my kids fav), and the other family meal have to's. So I now have a new challenge of the all too popular coupon shopping and although I am eager to save a buck as anyone I am not quite sure of the no fail method for myself! Anyone have any brilliant ideas? Let me know!

Oh Yeah! I am so excited for you! I am a BIG coupon shopper. I started just over 1 year ago and was completely overwhelmed. We need to talk so I can give you all the tips. You would not believe the items I get for free and very cheap. Very fun! Hang in there. Call me and we can chat!
Chanda, it is a little bit of work but well worth the effort when you come home with lots of bags of food and lots of money too. Just make sure you are organized and then find a way to make it worth it for you. Good luck. I love it and the free items are awsome!!
I did a little of the coupon thing although I still have TONS more to learn. Having to drive an hour to do my shopping was a challenge, let alone having to go to ALL the stores for their sales was not fun for me. I herd that Walmart takes all competitors coupons and would match ALL the sale Albertsons, Lins, Smiths, Target ect... was having. So I went and they DID! So now it makes it easier for me to only have to make one stop. Besides our monthly trips to Costco.......Good Luck
It is a bit of work, but so worth it. What I find that works best is using a little filing system, they are like an ancordian file but mini- it fits perfects perfectly in your purse and they are easy to find and store the coupons. It will make it easier, I promise.
Chanda!! Its Jessica (Buck) Harrie! I was looking on some blogs and I happen to stumble on yours! It's been forever! Anyway, coupons, I love the web site pinchingyourpennies.com! It's a little overwhelming at first but they have great tips and ways to save money! I hope all is well with you and your family!
