How We Met! (Tagged by Cody)

1. Where did we meet? At good ol' Dixie High School!
2. What was the first thought that went through your head when you met? I thought about how cute he was! He was unlike any boy I'd ever met! Something was different!
3. Do you remember what he/she was wearing? Not exactly, but probably a t-shirt and a pair of lucky's! That is still his entire attire!
4. Where was the first time you kissed this person? At Grandnother Moody's place! (I was living with her when my parents moved back to Delta)
5. Where did you go for your first date? Well on the "official" first date I was retarded! He asked me where I liked to eat and I said Wendy's. (He should have known then at how easy it is to please me!) I ordered the kids meal! (You know, it comes with everything you 'need! Hamburger, coke, fries and the ever so delicious FROSTY) Then we went to go see "Men in Black" and then to Charlies for ice cream!
6. How long did you know this person before you became a couple? Three years! And my poor friends in St. George had to struggle all through it with me! ( Not to mention my parents! )
7. How did he/she ask you out? He just called me. Actually, it is very funny! We (my family ! and I) had been in Delta for the 4'th of July and when we got back he had called me four times on my caller ID. I told everyone in my family to NEVER erase his number (at least until he called back) but my dad being the compassionate man he is, erased it anyway! I could have died! Thankfully for my dad's sake, he called a few hours later.
8. How did he propose to you? If any one does not want to read this mushy stuff I so don't blame you!!! I was living in American Fork with my aunt and working in Salt Lake when Chris got home from his mission. I was getting ready to go on a mission myself and told him to start dating other girls! He wouldn''t listen to me. One night I was sitting all alone evaluating my life and it hit me like a brick wall! "Marry this guy you crazy girl before he listens to you and meets someone else!" I couldn't imagine my life without him so when he called me on the phone that night he could tell something had changed! At the end of our conversation he said "Why won't you"
I replied "Why won't I what?"
"Marry me?"
I couldn't say no! Two weeks later, I found myself at the Timpanogos temple with a lot of roses and a ring on my finger!
9. Do you and this person have kids together? Five crazy kids!
10. Have you ever broken the law with this person? No. Unless you count speeding.
11. When was the first time you realized you liked this person? When I was a junior. He would come watch us play volleyball and I thought he was hot! We were on a stake committee together for New Year's Eve and when I walked into the stake center I told my friend Betsy that my future husband was here, I could feel it! She thought I was losing my marbles! I turned the corner and Chris was standing at the end of the hall. My heart started jumping out of my body and the butterflies were fluttering away! (Cheesy huh!)
12. Do you trust this person? With everything!
13. Do you see her/him as your partner in your future? Of course!
14. What is the best gift she/he gave you? A block of wood that says "Believe" with a letter of encouragement! And my five beautiful kids!
15. What is one thing He/She does that gets on your nerves? When he plays computer games (like Tiger Woods golf, thanks alot Brian) on sunday morning, that eirks me!!! Like we have nothing better to do with our time!!! You can't tell I'm bitter can you!
16. Where do you see each other 15 years from now? Hopefully finished with school! I also plan on enjoying these five kids at every stage so whatever they are doing, mission, college, marriage etc.....I am excited about experiencing it together!
17. What causes the most arguments? Selfish me!!! I am the problem 99% of the time!
18. How long have you been together? Since July of 1997. Minus two years of his mission where he faithfully wrote and I faithfully dated!
19. Are you Married? Yepper!
20. Who do you tag? I want to tag Jodi, my mom (mom, hearing how you and dad met never gets old!), Amy and Anna! Also Jamie if she will!!! I don't know how her and Dave met so that would be fun!
